Because of our unique design and construction, no unsightly divider rail is necessary, however, a "louver break" may be specified when ordering shutters which will allow that specified section of louvers to operate independently of the rest.

NO VISIBLE OPERATING ARM

With traditional shutters, an operating arm runs up the middle of the shutter. This arm is usually attached to the louvers by staples, which, with regular use, work loose and need to be replaced before the shutters are again operable. With MAGNOLIA Plantation Shutters, this unsightly rod, which also serves to spoil the classic line of a shutter and obstruct the view, is unnecessary.

MAGNOLIA Plantation Shutters louvers are operated by the flick of a finger. By placing a finger underneath one louver, all louvers open at once. To close louvers, simply press down on one louver.

MAGNETIC LOUVER POSITIONING

MAGNOLIA Shutters contoured and perfectly aligned louvers are held in place by non-visible special magnets positioned within the side stile. This magnetic louver positioning allows all louvers to move smoothly and silently, in total concert with each other.

FLUSH MOUNTING

Yet another technical innovation with Rushman MAGNOLIA Shutters is our flush mount feature. Traditional shutters must be mounted on frames in order to fit into most window openings or doors. With 2 1/2" MAGNOLIA Shutters, because no louvers protrude behind the shutter panel when the louvers are closed, our shutters can be flush mounted. This saves the installer time, and the customer, money. With French, Dutch or Atrium style doors, the revolutionary new flush mount feature means that shutter louvers do not interfere with the door know or handle.
